India Takes Over Operations Of Chabahar Port in Iran
India Ports Global Limited Company has opened its office and took over operations at the Shaheed Behesti port at Chabahar.
It happened during the occasion of the first meeting of the follow-up committee for implementation of the trilateral Chabahar agreement between India, Afghanistan and Iran.
India’s stock market overtakes Germany to become 7th largest in the world
India achieved another milestone when Indian Stock market overtakes Germany for the first time in seven years to become the world’s seventh largest stock market.

The US regulator Federation of Aviation Administration (FAA) retained the highest aviation safety ranking for India.
According to FAA, India’s International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) rating remains ‘Category 1’.
This ranking was based on an audit of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
India sets World Record in Nuclear Plant Operation
The indigenously developed Kaiga Atomic Power Station in Karnataka has set a new world record, with one of its units operating uninterrupted for more than 940 days.
This is a record for all kinds of nuclear power-generating units, including advanced gas-based reactors in the world.
India is fourth highest emitter of carbon dioxide in the world: Study
India is the fourth highest emitter of carbon dioxide in the world, accounting for 7 percent of global emissions in 2017, according to a study by Global Carbon Project.
The top 10 emitters were China, the US, the EU, India, Russia, Japan, Germany, Iran, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Tactical exercise ‘Vajra Kayaa’ completed
The Special Forces of India and United States completed their three-day tactical exercise called ‘Vajra Kayaa’ on December 01, 2018.
‘Vajra Kayaa’ is a part of the joint military drill ‘Vajra Prahar 2018’.
‘Vajra Kayaa’ was based on the narrative of an imaginary country going into a civil war due to a weak democratic structure.
‘Vajra Prahar 2018’ is being held between India and the US.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will be the Chief Guest at the 2019 Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi.
