International Conference on Status and Protection of Coral Reefs (STAPCOR – 2018) was held at Bangaram Island, Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
The theme of the conference was “Reef for Life”.
It was inaugurated by Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

The 22nd National Level Meeting between India and Myanmar was held in October, 2018.
During the meeting both sides agreed to take action against insurgent groups operating within their territories.
The two countries agreed on providing of security cooperation along with international border and facilitating movement of people and trade across the international border.
2nd International conference on Primary Health Care

The Indian delegation was led by Secretary (Economic Relations) TS Tirumurti.
Detailed discussions were held between the three sides on full operationalisation of the trilateral Agreement for international transit and transport through Chabahar Port.

7th meeting of education ministers of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) was held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
