Paul Polman step down as Unilever’s CEO
Unilever’s Chief Executive Paul Polman will step down after ten years in the job.
The Anglo-Dutch group was forced to ditch a controversial post - Brexit plan to move its headquarters from London to the Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Mr. Polman will be succeeded by Alan Jope, the Scottish executive who has been running Unilever’s beauty and personal care business, its biggest division.

Urjit Patel resigned as the 24th RBI Governor citing personal reasons
The resignation of the former governor was imminent from the recent government RBI tussles on a host of issues, including: Central bank autonomy The government reportedly seeking a share of the RBI reserves and Relaxing the restrictive prompt corrective action (PCA) framework for state-owned banks.
With his resignation,he has become the first governor since 1990 to step down before the end of his term.
He succeeded ex-RBI RaghuramRajan in September 2016 and his term was due till September 2019.
Prior to being the governor of the central bank, he was the deputy governor in RBI.

Pakistan's Ex-Prime Minister Sharif Sentenced to 7 Years In Latest Corruption Case An anti-corruption court sentenced former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to seven years in prison in a case centered on his ownership of a steel mill.
The anti-corruption court found that Sharif could not prove his source of income for ownership of a steel mill in Saudi Arabia.
He was arrested following the verdict.
It is the latest blow against Sharif, a dogged survivor of Pakistan's brutal political system.

The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) meeting in Sonepat revoked suspension of former national champion Soumyajit Ghosh following allegations of rape against him by an ex-girl friend.
Ghosh's legal troubles finally came to an end after he married the rape accuser four months after his career nose-dived owing to the crisis.
The withdrawal of suspension means Ghosh is eligible to participate in all national and international tournaments, with the Senior Nationals starting at Cuttack from January 4 2018.
