    In figure X the square sheet of paper has been folded diagonally along the line of the symmetry.

    In figure Y, the two corners of the formed triangle are further folded. Again in figure Z, two circles are punched in the centre of the quarter of the finally formed square.

    These circles will double in each quarter of the paper. Thus, when the paper is unfolded eight circle shape will appear symmetrically on four opposite corners.
