  • Explanation

    Clinging roots are present in epiphytes. For example members of orchidaceae family. Many members of orchidaceae grow as epiphytes on the branches of other big trees. They hang freely in the air and absorb atmospheric moisture with the help of a special sponge like tissue called velamen.
